Zusammenfassung

H Mart is seeking an HR Generalist to support daily HR operations across designated offices, factories and retail departments. You will help with onboarding, offboarding, benefits enrollment and policy guidance while upholding compliance and confidentiality.

You will partner with managers and employees to address relations, investigations, and disciplinary actions, ensuring fair processes and accurate records. A multi-site background and bilingual Korean/English skills are preferred.

Qualifikationen

• 3-5 years of progressive HR experience in generalist roles.
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
• Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.

• Provide coaching to managers and employees on HR matters including performance improvement.
• Maintain confidentiality and consistent application of policies.
• Assist employees with benefit enrollment, changes, and inquiries.

The HR Generalist supports daily HR operations, including employee relations, onboarding/offboarding, benefits administration, and leave management. This role ensures consistent application of HR policies, maintains accurate employee records, and provides guidance to managers and employees on HR-related matters. The HR Generalist also assists with HR projects and partners with internal teams to uphold compliance and improve overall workplace effectiveness.

Responsibilities but not limited to:

• Serve as the primary HR point of contact for designated office, factory and/or retail departments/companies
• Ensure HR policies, procedures, and employee handbook are communicated and consistently applied
• Handle employee relations matters with empathy, discretion, and fairness; conduct thorough investigations and document findings as necessary
• Manage and support disciplinary action processes by gathering facts, advising managers on appropriate steps, preparing documentation, and ensuring fairness and compliance
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, ensuring compliance with all applicable labor laws and internal policies
• Coordinate onboarding in collaboration with other HR team members including new hire orientation
• Manage offboarding processes, including exit interviews, termination paperwork, asset collection, and system deactivation
• Collaborate with safety and compliance teams to ensure factory-related HR practices meet internal and legal standards
• Provide coaching and day-to-day support to managers and employees on HR-related matters including performance improvement, disciplinary actions, and interpersonal conflicts
• Maintain strict confidentiality and ensure consistent application of policies
• Assist employees with benefit enrollment, changes, and inquiries

Qualifications / Skills:

• 3 -5 years of progressive HR experience in a generalist, HRBP, or similar role, preferably in a multi-site environment including manufacturing or factory settings
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
• Strong working knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to build trust with diverse teams
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite and HRIS systems (UKG Pro)
• Bilingual in Korean and English preferred

Salary Range: $65,400 - $98,850

*Actual compensation will be determined based on relevant experience, qualifications, skills, and other job-related factors.
