Job summary

Timpte, Inc. is seeking a Human Resources Generalist to join the Lincoln Manufacturing Center in Lincoln, NE. The role supports day-to-day HR functions for the site and collaborates with corporate HR on employee relations, compliance and programs.

Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's degree in HR or related field and 3–5 years of HR experience, preferably in manufacturing, with strong communication and organizational skills. Local travel may be required. Competitive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in HR, Business or related field; 3–5 years progressive HR experience preferred in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary HR contact for employees and leaders at LMC.
• Partner with leadership and Corporate HR on employee relations, performance, attendance and workplace concerns.
• Support recruiting, interviewing, hiring, onboarding, and employee retention efforts.
• Assist employees with questions related to benefits, payroll, PTO, policies and HR programs.
• Maintain accurate employee records and ensure HR processes and documentation are completed timely.
• Support employee engagement, recognition, communication, and company initiatives at LMC.
• Provide guidance to leaders on consistent application of policies and HR practices.
• Assist leaders with disciplinary actions and terminations as needed.
• Conduct trainings on Supervisor training, Employee orientations, and other HR topics.
• Partner with Corporate HR on compliance, investigations, organizational changes and other HR initiatives.
• Identify opportunities to improve HR processes, employee experience, and effectiveness of the LMC workforce.
• Other duties as assigned by management.

Timpte is looking for a Human Resources Generalist to join our new Lincoln Manufacturing Center location in Lincoln, NE!
The Human Resources Generalist is responsible for all day to day human resources support for our Lincoln Manufacturing Center.

Job Responsibilities

Desired Skills, Knowledge And Qualifications

• Must have Bachelor's Degree in HR, Business or related or 3-5 years progressive HR experience, preferably in manufacturing environment.


• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office programs; Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.


• Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational and problem-solving skills.


• Must have excellent verbal, written and presentation skills.


• Must be able to maintain confidentiality.


• Must have valid driver's license and insurable driving record for occasional travel.
