Human Resources Coordinator

Salary Range: $55K-$65K

Responsibilities
  • Manage all aspects of the Human Resources department in coordination with the regional HR Director and corporate HR team, payroll and recruitment departments.
  • Be part of a group of HR professionals and act as a strategic partner to the organization.
  • Maintain and update employee files (HR, Employee Health, Agency and Contract Services).
  • Prepare and maintain new hire packets and ensure accurate, timely completion of the new hire process.
  • Prepare employment status reports for payroll, HR and compliance purposes.
  • Process and maintain workers’ compensation claims, unemployment requests, FMLA and leaves of absence.
  • Provide services including applicant sourcing, recruiting and employee orientation.
  • Establish employee relations and help maintain a culture of excellence.
  • Process payroll on a weekly basis.
  • Maintain compliance with all regulatory bodies.
  • Enable employees to deliver high-quality care to patients served.
  • Implement and drive strategies for keeping everyone safe.
  • Strategically plan and manage recruitment and retention functions.
Qualifications

Minimum requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in HR, Business or related field required. (Commensurate experience may be considered in lieu of the degree with the approval of Corporate HR)
  • 2 years Human Resources experience required.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Previous HR experience in a healthcare facility with exposure to Joint Commission and CMS preferred.
  • Familiarity with benefits administration, basic HR and Employee Relations functions, payroll administration, and state and federal employment laws.
