Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Human Resources Coordinator to join our HR team. This individual will play a vital role in overseeing daily HR operations, focusing primarily on reviewing employee time cards and analyzing travel data. The HR Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring accurate payroll processes, compliance with labor laws, and assisting with travel-related inquiries and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Time Card Review & Payroll Support:
    1. Review employee time cards for accuracy, ensuring proper tracking of hours worked, overtime, and time off.
    2. Collaborate with department managers to resolve discrepancies in timekeeping and attendance.
    3. Assist in preparing data for payroll processing, ensuring compliance with company policies and relevant labor laws.
    4. Ensure adherence to company policies regarding timekeeping and reporting.
  2. Travel Analytics & Reporting:
    1. Oversee the submission and review of employee travel expenses, ensuring they are within company guidelines and appropriately documented.
    2. Compile and analyze travel data to generate reports on travel spending, frequency, and trends.
    3. Work with departments to identify opportunities for cost savings and travel process improvements.
    4. Ensure compliance with company travel policies and handle any related inquiries or issues.
  3. General HR Support:
    1. Assist in the recruitment process, including posting job openings, scheduling interviews, and maintaining applicant records.
    2. Maintain accurate employee records, ensuring they are up-to-date and compliant with privacy regulations.
    3. Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring a smooth experience for new hires and departing employees.
    4. Help coordinate employee training and development programs.
  4. Administrative Duties:
    1. Respond to employee inquiries related to timecards, payroll, and travel policies.
    2. Maintain HR databases and generate reports for management as needed.
    3. Provide general administrative support to the HR department as required.

Qualifications:

  1. HS Diploma
  2. Previous experience in HR, payroll processing, or a related field is highly preferred.
  3. Strong attention to detail and ability to manage sensitive information with confidentiality.
  4. Proficient in HR software and timekeeping systems (experience with [insert software name] is a plus).
  5. Strong analytical and reporting skills, especially in reviewing travel data and expenses.
