Responsibilities
  • Conduct recruitment and onboarding, including pre-employment processes for new hires
  • Track turnover and other HR metrics
  • Assist with new hire orientation and staff training
  • Complete termination paperwork
  • Interpret handbook, policies, and contracts as needed
  • Respond to unemployment claims and attend hearings
  • Support employee retention planning with Department Managers and the Administrator
  • Administer and follow up on FMLA, COBRA, and workers' compensation
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent; some college or technical training preferred
  • Minimum 3 years of HR experience, preferably in long-term care
  • Acceptable exemption required
