Job summary

International Wire Group is seeking an organized HR Coordinator to join our Camden, New York team. This hands-on role covers recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, benefits, compliance, and HR operations.

You will work with plant leadership and the HR group to support a positive employee experience while gaining exposure to manufacturing HR processes.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, Management, Psychology, Communications, or a related field preferred.
  • Previous internship, administrative, customer service, recruiting, or HR-related experience helpful but not required.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Comfortable working independently while contributing to a collaborative team.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

  • Support recruitment activities for hourly and salaried positions, including interview scheduling, candidate communication, and pre-employment coordination.
  • Assist with new-hire onboarding, orientation, and required employment documentation.
  • Help ensure new employees receive a welcoming, organized, and positive introduction to International Wire Group.
  • Coordinate pre-employment requirements, including background checks, drug screenings, physicals, and other required documentation.
  • Maintain accurate candidate and new-hire information within the applicant tracking and HR systems.
  • Serve as an approachable first point of contact for employees with general HR questions.
  • Support employees with questions related to policies, benefits, payroll, timekeeping, and company procedures.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee records, personnel files, and HR documentation.
  • Prepare employment-related correspondence, reports, presentations, and internal communications.
  • Assist with employee status changes, transfers, promotions, leave documentation, and other personnel updates.
  • Provide administrative support for employee meetings, engagement activities, recognition programs, and company events.

What You Will Do

Compensation and Benefits

The expected salary range for this position is $50,000-$55,000 annually. The final offer will be based on the candidate’s experience, qualifications, skills, and other job-related considerations.
