We are searching for a talented and self-motivated Human Resources Coordinator to help us create the future of flight. Responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:
Aurora Flight Sciences, a pioneer in advanced aerospace technology, is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HR Coordinator to support our HR and Talent Acquisition teams. This role is crucial in ensuring smooth HR operations, facilitating recruitment efforts, and fostering an exceptional employee experience. Recruitment Coordination:
-Manage and schedule candidate interviews, including travel arrangements and interview logistics.
-Communicate with candidates, recruiters, and hiring managers to provide updates and ensure a positive experience.
-Support pre-employment processes, including background screenings and compliance documentation.
-Post job openings, maintain application tracking systems, and coordinate candidate communications.
Onboarding & Employee Support:
-Facilitate new hire onboarding, including preparation of offer letters, onboarding documentation, and schedules.
-Conduct new hire orientation sessions and ensure smooth integration into the company.
-Maintain and update employee records, ensuring compliance with regulations and policies.
-Assist employees with questions related to benefits, policies, and HR procedures.
HR Operations:
-Provide administrative support for HR initiatives, including training programs, employee engagement activities, and talent management processes.
-Assist in the talent management process by organizing reviews and maintaining tracking systems, including filing physical and electronic documentation.
-Partner with HR leadership to implement workforce initiatives, compliance efforts, and process improvements.
-Stay informed of employment law and best practices to ensure HR operations align with regulations.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
-Work closely with internal HR team members, including Talent Acquisition, Benefits, and HR Operations, to streamline processes and address employee needs.
-Provide data and metrics to support decision-making and identify trends or areas for improvement.
-Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field or 2+ years of HR experience.
-Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and manage competing priorities.
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with candidates, employees, and leaders.
-Proficiency in MS Office Suite and familiarity with HRIS and ATS
-A proactive, detail-oriented approach with a focus on delivering a positive employee experience.
-HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus.
-Previous experience in a fast-paced, technical environment preferred.
-Ability to work in an office environment consistently.
-Fine manipulation, such as typing, and the ability to work at a desk for up to 8 hours daily.
-Occasionally lift office equipment such as laptops and files.
