Job summary

Portsmouth Regional Hospital is seeking a Human Resources Coordinator to provide local HR support to employees and act as the face of the HR office. You will guide colleagues to the correct self-service portal or HR service center and support the HR Business Partner team in coordinating information.

You will help manage local hiring, orientation, compliance, learning, benefits enrollment, and prepare for audits, while assisting managers with salary planning and handling Leaves of Absence and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• No travel required.
• 1 year of experience required.

Responsibilities

• Provide local HR support to employees and be the face of the HR office.
• Guide employees seeking HR transactional support to the correct self-service portal and/or the HR service center.
• Support the HR Business Partner team and managers in collecting and coordinating information.
• Help in local tasks which cannot be completed by the HR service center.
• Assist with local employee engagement, service awards and community events.
• Support implementation of department or facility action plans from engagement survey results.
• Maintains local hiring processes by posting jobs, conducting onsite interviews, and updating job descriptions.
• Coordinate local orientation programs and content delivery.
• Assist compliance initiatives by gathering information for audits.
• Maintain learning and development activities at the facility.
• Manage benefits enrollment by conducting information sessions and directing employees to resources.
• Assist managers with salary and incentive planning processes.
• Support employees returning from Leaves of Absence or Workers’ Comp inquiries.

• Aid employees with return from Leaves of Absence or Workers’ Comp inquiries
