Coordinates a variety of human resources, administrative, and operational functions in support of the
Village’s programs and services. Serves as the primary coordinator for personnel administration,
recruitment, onboarding, benefits administration, records management, employee training tracking, and
compliance-related activities. Provides administrative support to the Executive Director, oversees office
operations and purchasing, coordinates travel arrangements, and administers assigned programs and
projects. Supervises administrative support and custodial staff and ensures efficient office operations,
accurate recordkeeping, and consistent application of administrative and personnel procedures. Upholds
the organization’s mission, and values as well as demonstrate an understanding of and compliance with
organization’s policies and procedures.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Administers personnel records and maintains confidential employee files and human resources documentation.
- Coordinates recruitment activities, including job postings, applicant tracking, interview
scheduling, reference checks, and hiring documentation.
- Facilitates employee onboarding and offboarding processes, including orientation, personnel
forms, system access, and required documentation.
- Coordinates employee benefits enrollment, changes, communications, and related administrative
activities.
- Maintains records of employee training, certifications, licenses, policy acknowledgments, and
compliance requirements.
- Assists in the implementation and administration of personnel policies, procedures, and
employee communications.
- Provides administrative support to the Executive Director, including scheduling, correspondence,
meeting coordination, and special projects.
- Coordinates office operations, purchasing activities, vendor relationships, supplies, equipment,
and administrative services.
- Arranges and coordinates employee, Board, committee, and program travel, including
reservations, itineraries, reimbursements, and related documentation.
- Administers and maintains records associated with the Hunter Support Program and related
activities.
- Develops, maintains, and improves administrative filing systems, records management practices,
and office procedures.
- Supervises and evaluates the work of assigned administrative support and custodial staff. ff effectiveness by recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, coaching, counseling, and disciplining; communicating values, strategies, and objectives; assigning accountabilities; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; developing a climate for offering information and opinions; integrating functional objectives; and providing and participating in educational opportunities.
- Hosts and participates in regular meetings to ensure effective communications about Tribal
matters.

and addressing and resolving conflicts.
- Prepares reports, correspondence, spreadsheets, and other administrative documents.
- Assists with audits, compliance reviews, records requests, and special projects.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Associate’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Public Administration, Office
- Administration, Tribal Administration, or a related field
- Three (3) years of progressively responsible experience in human resources administration, office
administration, executive support, personnel coordination, or similar work.
- Supervisory experience and experience working in a Tribal government, nonprofit organization,
or public-sector environment are preferred.
- A combination of relevant education and experience may be considered.
