The Human Resources Coordinator provides essential administrative support to the Human Resources department to ensure efficient and effective operations. Key responsibilities include maintaining personnel records, managing HRIS data entry, and supporting core HR functions such as recruitment, onboarding, performance management, policy administration, and employee engagement initiatives. This role is ideal for a motivated individual seeking to launch a career in Human Resources. A collaborative mindset and attention to detail are essential. This position reports to the Human Resources Generalist.

General Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative and clerical support to the Human Resources department.
  • Assist with full-cycle recruitment, including posting job advertisements, sourcing and screening candidates, scheduling interviews, and conducting reference checks.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for candidates throughout the recruitment process.
  • Handle the onboarding process from offer acceptance through new hire orientation.
  • Support the performance review process by assisting with document preparation and tracking.
  • Ensure all newly issued policies are acknowledged and properly filed in employee records.
  • Assist in the planning and coordination of employee engagement and team-building events.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR files, records, and documentation in accordance with legal requirements and company policy.
  • Perform periodic audits of HR records to ensure compliance and completeness.
  • Generate and maintain reports as needed.
  • Maintain confidentiality and integrity in handling all HR-related information.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 1–2 years of experience in a human resources role or similar administrative position.
  • Familiarity with ADP systems is preferred but not required.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Excellent organizational skills and keen attention to detail.

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds occasionally.
