Job summary

Stars Behavioral Health Group is seeking an HR Coordinator for our Victorville, CA location. This role supports day-to-day HR tasks, liaises with shared services, and helps interpret policy while maintaining confidential data in the HRIS. The position also assists benefits and training initiatives within the regional program.

You will contribute to a positive work environment, handle multiple projects, and travel as needed to support offices regionally. A valid CA driver's license is required.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent with two years' HR experience.
• Experience with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) required.
• Knowledge of the Mental Health field desirable.
• Ability to travel to and from offices within and outside the local area.
• Valid California Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day human resources functions and liaise with HR shared services.
• Provide HR policy interpretation and guidance to management and staff.
• Compile sensitive data/statistics and prepare reports.
• Maintain personnel and HR documents and data in the HRIS.

This includes handling the day-to-day functions in human resources including acting as a liaison with the HR shared services teams, providing HR policy/procedure interpretation and guidance, compiling sensitive data/statistics and preparing reports, maintaining personnel and other HR department documents and files, and entering and maintaining accurate data in the HRIS. This position may also assist with benefits, workers’ compensation and HR training as needed. The HR Coordinator is responsible for supporting the development of a positive working environment to enhance HR success and reduce legal risks. Handling extensive personal and confidential information is an essential job function of this position. Travel within the region will be required.Region Program Overview:The region supports approximately 340 employees that provide inpatient and outpatient mental/behavioral health services within Riverside and San Bernardino counties.This position will be assigned onsite to provide HR support to Inpatient programs within a designated area.The Crisis Residential Treatment (CRT) offer recovery-based treatment options, services and interventions in a home-like setting. Services are provided 24 hours a day and 365 days a year and include assessment, physical and psychological evaluation, mental health and case management services. Helping adults safely and successfully transition back to community living after a period of psychiatric crisis and recovery.The Crisis Walk-In Center (CWIC) provides urgent mental health services 24/7 to serve individuals experiencing a crisis in their lives.
