Recruitment Range: $55,221–$67,000
NCCAT is looking for an experienced human resources professional who can successfully navigate the full range of HR work for our agency.
The Human Resources Consultant II will be responsible for the day-to-day administration of NCCAT’s human resources program. This position serves as a key HR resource for supervisors and employees and handles work across employee relations, recruitment, classification and compensation, benefits, leave administration, position management, and HR policy.
We're looking for someone who knows HR and is comfortable working in the details. The right person will be able to move between consulting with a supervisor, helping an employee understand a benefit or leave question, reviewing a position or salary action, and completing the system work necessary to put an HR decision into place. Strong candidates will bring sound judgment, attention to detail, follow-through, discretion, and the ability to build good working relationships. Experience with State of North Carolina HR systems, policies, and processes would be especially valuable.
