We are seeking a results-oriented individual to work as anHR Consultantin a fast-paced and rapidly growing environment. One position is available at this time in the St. Louis, MO office.

Essential Functions and Primary Duties

  • Provide guidance and expertise to a client base in HR-related areas such as employment law compliance, employee relations, leaves of absence/ADA, performance management, etc.
  • Advise on and resolve a full range of internal and external customer requests and projects related to multiple areas within HR
  • Develop, revise, and implement HR policies and procedures for a range of clients depending on their scope of needs
  • Assist with developing, coordinating, and recommending changes for the improvement of workflow with processes related to HR for each assigned client
  • Partner with clients to manage HRIS implementations while also maintaining HR systems and compliant employee personnel files
  • Deliver practical solutions to clients including employee relations and performance management, payroll processing, benefit administration including COBRA and billing reconciliation, etc.
  • Conduct audits of human resource activities to ensure compliance with applicable employment laws, policies and procedures
  • Perform additional responsibilities as assigned

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business administration, human resources or a related field
  • Current HR certification designation (either SHRM or HRCI)
  • Two-three years of professional-level experience in human resources
  • Experience managing HR functions across multiple states

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • At least 3 years of demonstrated HR experience
  • Demonstrated project management experience will distinguish more sought-after candidates
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing throughout all levels of the organization, both internally and externally
  • Effective presentation skills
  • Ability to analyze and prioritize multiple responsibilities
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Suite software tools (Word, Outlook, Excel, etc.)
