Job summary

Tasklix is seeking a Human Resources Consultant to support small and medium-sized businesses in Puerto Rico. You will help structure and strengthen HR functions, aligning talent management with business goals and Puerto Rico labor laws.

The role offers exposure to multiple clients across industries, with opportunities to become a strategic partner and drive organizational development while maintaining high discretion and confidentiality. Travel to client sites is required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field.
  • Experience in HR, preferably in a generalist role for small/medium businesses.
  • Strong knowledge of Puerto Rico labor legislation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple clients and projects simultaneously.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic HR consulting while ensuring compliance with Puerto Rico labor laws and HR best practices.
  • Develop, review, and update employee handbooks, policies, and procedures.
  • Coordinate recruitment processes with the Recruitment team.
  • Lead employee selection and hiring processes for clients.
  • Support performance evaluation processes and talent development programs.
  • Manage employee relations matters, including investigations, discipline, and termination per laws.
  • Advise managers on decisions aligned with business objectives.
  • Coordinate compliance and organizational development training.
  • Prepare reports and analyses with strict confidentiality.
  • Represent Tasklix in client meetings with confidence and credibility.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to optimize processes and service delivery.
  • Travel to client facilities as required.
  • Perform other duties related to the position.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field.
Required Skills
  • Previous experience in Human Resources, preferably in a generalist role within small or medium-sized companies.
  • Strong knowledge of Puerto Rico labor legislation.
  • Strong analytical skills and excellent written communication abilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple clients and projects simultaneously.
  • High level of discretion and ability to handle confidential information.
  • Valid driver’s license and availability to travel.
