Job summary

ADP is seeking a Senior Manager, HR Business Partner to act as a strategic partner to senior leaders, aligning people strategies with business objectives and driving performance. You will lead HR programs, policies, and practices with autonomy on projects while supporting growth and organizational effectiveness.

You will collaborate with HR Centers of Excellence and Employment Law to ensure sustainable HR solutions and proactive workforce decisions while advancing DEI and inclusive culture

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of exempt generalist HR experience.
  • A college degree is great but not required.
  • HR Certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR) preferred.
  • Experience leading enterprise-wide initiatives or large-scale organizational change.
  • Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills.
  • Ability to influence and persuade others in a matrixed environment.

As a Senior Manager, HR Business Partner, you will serve as a strategic and consultative partner to business leaders, proactively aligning people strategies with business objectives to drive organizational performance and growth. Daily, you will use your leadership and HR expertise to introduce and drive HR programs, practices, and policies aligned to ADP's culture that drive key business results. What you’ll do: Responsibilities
What you can expect on a typical day:
  • Deliver and Implement Sustainable HR Solutions. You will understand the business vision, values, strategy, and drivers and create a productive partnership to deliver sustainable HR solutions. You will support Business Unit HR and Corporate HR strategies and plans and ensure effective local implementation. You may also develop site-specific HR strategies to respond to changing business needs.
  • Work Closely with Leaders. Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, providing insight and guidance on people strategy, organizational health, and workforce effectiveness. Anticipate business needs and proactively recommend HR strategies to support growth, transformation, and performance outcomes. You will influence and prepare leaders for talent reviews, succession planning, and strategic workforce decisions.
  • Leverage Data for Maximum Impact. You will use your analytical skills to leverage data from multiple sources to identify trends, measure impact, and drive informed decision-making. You will advocate for stakeholders by surfacing systemic issues and recommending improvements to HR programs, policies, or practices.
  • Partner Internally. You will independently manage complex and sensitive associate relations matters, partnering with Employment Law and HR Centers of Excellence as appropriate.
  • Problem Resolution. You will provide counsel and direction and/or directly handle employee relations cases. You will coach and consult with managers and associates on performance, terminations, sexual harassment, discrimination, etc. – interpreting and complying with all federal and state laws.
  • Learner Programs. You will conduct and facilitate initial and reinforcement training with managers and associates on performance management, behavioral interviewing, etc. You may also conduct or facilitate training relating to associate and leadership development programs.
  • Change & Program Management. You will lead and implement complex HR projects, programs, and initiatives across organizational design, workforce planning, performance management, change management, and leadership development.
TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE: Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years of exempt generalist HR experience required

A college degree is great but not required. What's more important is having the skills to do the job. If you don't have a college degree, other acceptable experiences could include: Experience noted above, OR Military experience where skills include teamwork, adaptability, organization, and follow-through will help you build team and client relationships, identify solutions, and achieve success.
