Qualifications

  • 3+ years of combined experience in multiple HR functional areas.
  • Knowledge of labor relations including collective bargaining agreements.
  • PHR/SPHR or related certification preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license when driving any vehicle for work-related reasons.
  • Knowledge and use of Microsoft Office and all other necessary computer skills.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the HR subject matter expert to managers.
  • Conduct investigations of workplace policy violations.
  • Analyze trends and metrics to develop solutions.
  • Provide day-to-day HR guidance to team members.
  • Advise management on discipline and performance issues.
  • Conduct grievance and issue resolution meetings with proper documentation.

The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) is responsible for providing comprehensive human resource needs and initiatives in the areas of team member/labor relations, talent management/training, performance management, leadership development, and team member engagement for assigned areas. This role supports the organization in achieving operational targets by developing, promoting, implementing, managing, and maintaining effective HR policies, programs, procedures, and practices, while striving towards maintaining a positive work climate and providing day-to-day leadership and guidance.

Responsibilities
  • Serves as the HR subject matter expert to managers, including compensation and benefits
  • Conduct investigations of workplace policy violations
  • Recommends policy changes to support business needs
  • Provide day to day policy, contractual and regulatory guidance and interpretations to team members and management on various HR topics
  • Advise management on team member discipline and performance issues
  • Conduct grievance and issue resolution meetings. Ensures appropriate document and follow-up is being completed
  • Analyze trends and metrics to partner with leadership on developing solutions or programs to achieve organizational goals
  • Provide support in areas of team member engagement and team building
  • Anticipates and exceeds customer expectations
  • Uses patient-centered decision making and problem solving
  • Provides timely responses to staff and manager requests
  • Meet regularly with key stakeholders in assigned departments
  • Assist groups and teams to identify and resolve problem issues, coaching managers on team member performance issues, and providing consistent interpretation and application of personnel policies, statutory regulations and laws.
  • Drive an engagement focus with managers for positive business performance and achievement
  • Actively partner with management to execute HR and talent management processes to develop and retain high quality talent, including leadership development
  • Assists managers in creating an environment that promotes recognition of individuals and utilizes recognition and reward programs
  • Assist groups and teams to identify and resolve problem issues, coaching managers on team member performance issues, and providing consistent interpretation and application of personnel policies, union contracts, statutory regulations, and laws.
  • Advise management on the interpretation and administration of provisions of collective bargaining agreement(s). Ensure compliance with the organizational collective bargaining philosophy.
  • Serve as an integral member of the bargaining team during negotiations
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, or related field required
  • Master’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration/Management, or related field preferred
  • 3+ years of combined experience in multiple HR functional areas and/or team member relations/labor relations experience required
  • PHR/SPHR or related certification preferred
  • Valid driver’s license when driving any vehicle for work-related reasons
  • Knowledge and use of Microsoft Office and all other necessary computer skills
