Gothic Landscape is looking for an Onsite HR Business Partner to support our Riverside construction office. The individual selected will have a significant role in supporting the field and office operations as well as the Executive Management Team.

Highlights of what our HR Business Partner will do:

  • Responsible for aligning business objectives with employees and management.
  • Supporting the day-to-day Human Resources operations surrounding recruitment/selection, onboarding, training & development, and employee relations.
  • Supports local hiring, including:
    • Collaborate with department managers to identify and draft detailed and accurate job descriptions and hiring criteria.
    • Schedule interviews; oversee preparation of interview questions and other hiring and selection materials.
  • Employee Development
    • Oversee and manage onboarding to ensure that new employees are welcomed and prepared for their new role.
    • Develop and facilitate training and developing managers and other employees. Assist with Career Development plans.
  • Employee Morale
    • Supports local events to build relationships.
    • Supports local rewards and recognition programs.
  • People Analysis
    • Supports succession planning and hiring needs projections.
  • Supports and ensures proper job terminations.
  • Partner with VP of HR to ensure the office is aligned with Company policies & procedures as well as the strategic goals related to talent acquisition, hiring practices, employee & career development, and training.

Qualifications:

  • *Bilingual Spanish is a requirement for this role.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
  • Five (5) to eight (8) years of HR experience with at least two (2) years of experience in both talent acquisition and HR Business Partner experience.
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills; demonstrated influence and diplomacy at all levels.
  • Previous experience in coaching and mentoring management and employees.
  • Ability to build partnerships and thrive in an ambiguous and rapidly changing environment
