Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced HR Business Partner with expertise in multi-state payroll operations. This role functions as a trusted advisor to leadership, aligning HR practices with business objectives while ensuring all payroll-related activities comply with federal, state, and local regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic HR Partnership

• Serve as a business partner to leadership, advising on HR strategies, policies, and programs.

• Align HR initiatives with organizational goals and ensure effective implementation.

• Handle leave applications, benefit administration, and HR reporting.

• Provide guidance on talent management, organizational structure, and employee relations.

Multi-State Payroll Expertise

• Manage end-to-end payroll processing across multiple states.

• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations.

• Perform regular audits of payroll systems and processes to ensure accuracy.

• Collaborate with finance teams to resolve payroll issues and inquiries.

Employee Relations & Engagement

• Address employee concerns and provide coaching to managers on employee relations matters.

• Manage performance issues and support disciplinary procedures.

• Implement and monitor employee engagement programs and surveys.

• Promote a positive and inclusive workplace culture.

Talent Management

• Support talent acquisition, onboarding, and employee development efforts.

• Develop and implement performance management systems.

• Collaborate with HR and Learning & Development teams to address talent needs and growth plans.

Compliance & Legal

• Stay informed on all relevant labor laws and regulations.

• Ensure HR and payroll processes comply with legal standards.

• Advise management on compliance matters and policy interpretations.
