This role serves as a liaison between employees/managers of a business unit, division, or profit center and the human resources function. The HR Business Partner supports and develops current and future leadership, exercising creativity, latitude, and expertise across HR disciplines to drive employee engagement and organizational effectiveness.

Responsibilities
  • Put safety first – Always!
  • Lead and foster our “people first” culture.
  • Engage with key stakeholders to understand business needs and create executable solutions.
  • Advise staff on personnel issues and implement objectives with minimal direction.
  • Lead investigations and recommend appropriate actions in partnership with management.
  • Assist with performance management and link outcomes to development initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and records related to employee investigations, actions, and concerns.
  • Provide employee relations support including performance improvement plans, mediation, and development.
  • Analyze data from exit interviews, performance reviews, and surveys to drive engagement initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate information with the HIRS system and generate reporting (turnover, absenteeism, overtime, etc.) to drive data-informed decisions.
  • Partner with operations leaders to identify high‑potential employees.
  • Support recruiting and administer compensation and benefits programs as needed.
  • Handle complex HR issues and escalate only the most critical matters.
  • May act as a lead or first‑level supervisor.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Experience
