Position Summary:

The Human Resources Associate will support the daily functions of the HR department, including recruitment, onboarding, benefits administration, compliance, and employee relations. This individual will play a vital role in fostering a positive workplace culture and ensuring smooth HR operations across the organization.

Successful Candidates Will Be Able To:

· Work with the Director of Administration and the COO to help the organization hit its staff related strategic
goals (reducing turnover rate, reducing overtime, hiring qualified candidates, improved retention strategies
empowering staff training, etc).

· Work with HR Assistant in full-cycle recruitment: posting jobs, screening candidates, scheduling interviews,
and conducting reference checks.

· Work with HR Assistant to facilitate new hire onboarding and ensure completion of all required
documentation.

· Update, design, implement and adopt digital and fillable HR documents.

· Assist in maintaining employee records and ensure data accuracy and confidentiality.

· Collects, analyzes and reports data to recommend to Leadership.

· Support benefits administration, including enrollments, changes, and claims resolution.

· Respond to employee inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and benefits.

· Ensure HR practices comply with federal, state, and local employment laws.

· Help coordinate training sessions and employee engagement initiatives.

· Support performance review processes and assist with disciplinary documentation.

· Participate and provide guidance in investigations into routine internal complaints

Qualifications:

· Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field preferred

· 1–3 years of HR experience, ideally in a nonprofit or social services setting

· Knowledge of HRIS systems and basic employment laws

· Strong communication and organizational skills

· Ability to handle sensitive information with professionalism

Hourly Rate : $23.08 plus a comprehensive benefit and training package
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 40 hours a week
