Human Resources Associate, Princeton, NJ - Hybrid

Job Summary

This position serves as a point-of-contact for HR functional areas and HR Business Partners supporting Sun's US population. The associate responds to employee inquiries related to payroll data, employee records, and payroll activities, ensuring data accuracy and compliance.

Responsibilities
  1. Monitor daily workforce service inboxes and respond to employee questions.
  2. Assist in preparing and maintaining records and reports related to payroll, employee information, benefits, and other HR data.
  3. Maintain employee and department records, ensuring data integrity within the Human Capital Management HR system.
  4. Create and maintain custom reports for internal and external requests.
  5. Review, verify, audit, and process payroll change requests.
  6. Support payroll functions, including calculating and verifying payroll data such as gross pay, taxes, and leave.
  7. Assist with HRIS upgrades, testing, and projects, including end-user support and impact analysis.
  8. Coordinate auditing, record-keeping, and reporting functions for payroll and benefits.
  9. Input compensation changes following proper authorization and verification.
  10. Perform other administrative duties as needed.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, business analytics, or related field.
  • 3-5 years of payroll experience, preferably with SAP payroll.
  • 3-5 years of experience with an integrated HR platform.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, V-lookup) and Office suite.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently, maintain confidentiality, and establish effective relationships.
