ECPI University seeks an HR Assistant to support Virginia Beach campus employees and managers with Tier 1 HR inquiries and onboarding activities.
The role includes processing background checks, I-9 compliance, and maintaining accurate HR records within the HRIS, while collaborating with the HR team to ensure compliant, timely, and confidential service.
This position is based at our Virginia Beach, VA campus location.
Good Faith Pay Range: In accordance with Virginia law, the good-faith hourly pay range for this position is $23.00 - $24.00 per hour. Actual compensation will be determined based on the candidate's qualifications, education, experience, skills, and other legitimate business factors.
Position Summary
The Human Resources (HR) Assistant serves as the first point of contact for employees and managers, providing Tier 1 support for a wide range of HR-related inquiries. This role delivers high-quality customer service by responding to basic HR questions, interpreting standard policies and procedures, and supporting core HR processes including hiring and onboarding. The HR Assistant also assists with HR projects and ensures accurate and timely processing of employee information.
