Key Responsibilities:
First Point of Contact: Be the welcoming face and voice of HR by interacting with visitors and employees in a professional and friendly manner.
Communication Hub: Monitor and manage the "text-in" line for incoming messages, responding quickly and effectively.
HR Systems Proficiency: Utilize Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and HR Information System (HRIS) to manage records and data.
Orientation Coordination: Send weekly reminders for New Employee Orientation (NEO) to new hires, ensuring they are prepared and informed.
Unemployment Claims Processing: Manage and process unemployment claims in a timely manner.
Phone & Correspondence Management: Answer phone calls, direct inquiries to appropriate departments, and handle incoming and outgoing correspondence.
Record Keeping: Maintain organized and up-to-date employee records, including doctor's notes, write-ups, and timecard entries.
Compliance Monitoring: Ensure termination reports are reviewed, and timecard entries are accurate.
Customer & Employee Support: Assist with welcoming new customers and interviewees, while providing office supplies as needed.
General Office Assistance: Perform other administrative tasks, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations of the HR department.
Requirements:
Skills and Knowledge:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Strong organizational and multitasking skills
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive information with discretion
Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
High attention to detail and accuracy
Education & Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent (GED) preferred
Previous administrative experience, especially in HR, is a plus

Physical Demands:
Primarily office-based, with some light physical requirements such as lifting files (up to 25 lbs), bending, or standing when necessary.
Occasional visits to the factory where you may be exposed to varying temperatures, vibration, and moving mechanical equipment.
Office-based with occasional visits to the factory, where safety and hearing protection may be required.
Type: Full-time
Hours: Monday to Friday, during normal business hours (additional evening/weekend work may be required depending on job demands)
