Responsibilities
- Coordinate the new hire process, distribute exit interviews, and track/monitor responses. Conduct background checks and investigations.
- Maintain up-to-date employment records and personnel files, process personnel actions accurately and timely, input employment information into the Human Resource Information System, and retrieve historical data as needed. Maintain employee garnishment files and forward garnishment notices to the Resource Center.
- Support the open enrollment process, serve as a benefits specialist for employee populations, address benefits questions, process benefits changes promptly, conduct benefit audits, and maintain benefits accrual information.
- Review Workers' Compensation cases, analyze injury reports, and ensure OSHA compliance.
- Ensure proper authorization of payroll actions and validate/organize payroll checks prior to distribution.
- Input employee work schedules into the workforce timekeeper system and record time data efficiently via the exceptions report.
- Maintain records for state and federal reporting.
- Distribute exceptions reports to supervisors and managers, and prepare management reports as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- One year of Human Resources, payroll, or clerical experience preferred.
- One year of computer experience, including proficient use of spreadsheets and word processing, preferred.
- Professional in Human Resources (PHR) Certification preferred.
- Valid driver’s license required.

Salary Range
USD $18.00 - $22.00 / Hour
