Specialized Experience

For the GS-06 grade level, you must have one year (52 full weeks) of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-05 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized Experience for this position includes:

• Experience providing customer service and assistance to internal customers; AND
• Communicating professionally, both orally and in writing, with peers, management and/or customers; AND
• Creating and reviewing final office correspondences which demonstrate proper use of grammar, punctuation, format, and writing style.

Specialized Experience

For the GS-07 grade level, you must have one year (52 full weeks) of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-06 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized Experience for this position includes:

• Utilizing HR automated systems; AND
• Experience providing customer service and assistance to internal and external customers; AND
• Communicating professionally, both orally and in writing, with peers, management and/or customers; AND
• Creating and reviewing final office correspondences which demonstrate proper use of grammar, punctuation, format, and writing style.

The experience may have been gained in either the public, private sector or volunteer service. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis.
