Rayburn Correctional Center is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Human Resources Analyst. This position plays a vital role in ensuring effective HR operations within a correctional environment, contributing to recruitment, employee relations, policy compliance, and workforce development. The maximum substitution allowed is 120 semester hours which substitutes for a maximum of four years of experience in any field.

Position-Specific Details

Appointment Type: JOB APPOINTMENT

• A job appointment is a temporary job lasting up to four years; however, should a permanent position become available, the employee may be converted to a probational appointment.
• This position may also be filled as a probational appointment if a non-temporary position becomes available in the recruitment process.
• If filled by probation, a permanent classified LA State employee, if selected, may be required to accept a probational appointment.

Compensation: This position has a Special Entrance Rate (SER) at each level. However, the salary offered will be determined based on qualifications and experience.

• Human Resources Analyst A has an SER of $20.20 per hour
• Human Resources Analyst B has an SER of $21.61 per hour
• Human Resources Analyst C has an SER of $24.31 per hour

Career Progression Group: HUMAN RESOURCES ANALYST A, B, OR C

• Filled at the highest level of experience of the selected applicant.
• Salary depends on the level of experience.
