Human Resources Advisor I -

Oconomowoc, WI

MRA is partnering with one of our members who is a healthcare organization located in Oconomowoc, WI in their recruitment efforts to find an HR Advisor I who will provide essential support to supervisors and managers across the organization.

This position offers an immediate opportunity to serve as a trusted HR partner, guiding leaders on employee relations, performance management, and policy compliance to foster a positive and productive work environment.

You will facilitate regular meetings with management to address talent and employee concerns, provide day-to-day coaching, and support conflict resolution efforts. The successful candidate will help ensure consistent application of HR policies, assist with progressive discipline, and oversee offboarding and termination processes with empathy and professionalism.

In addition, you will conduct structured employee check-ins, support internal and external audits including The Joint Commission (TJC), manage employee sponsorship and visa processes, and partner with legal and HR teams on investigations and compliance matters. Your contributions will be key to maintaining a respectful, inclusive workplace culture and supporting the full employee lifecycle.

This opportunity is ideal for an HR professional with 2 to 4 years of experience in an HR Specialist, Generalist, or Advisory role, preferably in healthcare. A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience) is required. Strong knowledge of employment law, employee relations, and HR compliance, along with experience in immigration processes and HRIS systems, is preferred.
