Job description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experiencedHuman Resources Administratorto manage core HR functions, with a primary focus onpayroll processing using ADP,benefits administration, and ensuringcompliance with employment laws and regulations. This role is ideal for a highly organized professional with a strong background in payroll, HR systems, and advanced Excel capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process payroll accurately and on timeusing ADP, including wage calculations, deductions, garnishments, and adjustments.
  • Administer the company'sbenefits program, including health insurance, 401(k), COBRA, FMLA, and open enrollment processes.
  • Ensure fullcompliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, including recordkeeping, reporting, and policy updates.
  • Maintain and update employee records in HRIS and digital personnel files.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for employee inquiries related to payroll, benefits, and general HR policies.
  • Support onboarding and offboarding processes, including documentation, background checks, and exit interviews.
  • Generate reports and provide data analysis usingMicrosoft Excel (pivot tables, vlookups, charts) to support payroll audits and HR metrics tracking.
  • Respond to and manage unemployment claims in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Provide general HR administrative support as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degreein Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experiencein a Human Resources or Payroll Administrator role.
  • Hands-on experience with ADPpayroll systems isrequired.
  • Deep understanding of employment laws and HR compliance (FLSA, FMLA, ADA, etc.).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel(formulas, pivot tables, charts, data validation).
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to meet strict deadlines.
  • High level of discretion and confidentiality in handling sensitive employee data.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with additional HR platforms or tools (e.g., E-Verify, HRIS platforms).
  • SHRM or HRCI certification (PHR, SHRM-CP) a plus.
