MWH Constructors is seeking an organized and detail-oriented Human Resources Administrator (HRA) to support the Sr. Human Resources Business Partner.

This in-office role focuses on processing HR data, maintaining employee records, and supporting workforce management, compliance and data entry for construction and corporate teams in the Broomfield, CO office. Qualifications

  • High School Diploma/GED required.
  • Two-year degree in HR, organizational design, business administration, accounting, or related field or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2 years of administrative and/or customer service experience in a professional office.
  • Working knowledge of general office procedures and proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
  • Solid communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to HR, including HR Business Partners and Generalist colleagues.
  • Maintain working knowledge of HR processes and policies.
  • Manage the HR shared inbox and phone line.
  • Answer employees’ queries and reroute/escalate complex matters as needed.
  • Provide high-quality, timely, and professional customer service.
  • Complete HR projects as needed.
  • Process and track employee status changes (new hires, terminations, transfers, promotions).
  • Record keeping and maintaining HR data systems.
  • Work with Payroll and other internal partners.
  • Assist in onboarding for new hires (documentation and orientation).
  • Perform employment verifications promptly.
  • Other duties as assigned.

About The Role

MWH is currently seeking an organized and detail-oriented Human Resources Administrator (HRA) with a focus on construction industry operations to support the Sr. Human Resources Business Partner. The role will involve processing HR data, maintaining and updating employee records, and supporting various administrative HR functions. This position will primarily assist with workforce management, compliance and data entry tasks for our construction and corporate teams. This position will be based in our corporate office in Broomfield, CO.

Essential Functions
  • Provide administrative support to HR, including HR Business Partners and Generalist colleagues.
  • Maintain working knowledge of HR processes and policies.
  • Manage the HR shared inbox and phone line.
  • Answer employees’ queries to the fullest extent possible, rerouting/escalating complex matters to the appropriate individual when necessary.
  • Provide high-quality, timely, and professional customer service.
  • Complete HR projects as needed.
  • Process and track employee status changes, including new hires, terminations, transfers, and promotions.
  • Perform record keeping and help maintain our HR data systems.
  • Work with Payroll as well as other internal business partners.
  • Assist in coordinating onboarding for new hires, including documentation and orientation processes.
  • Perform employment verifications promptly.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Hourly non-exempt position
  • 100% full time in office position. This role is not hybrid or work-from-home.
  • The position reports to Sr. Human Resources Business Partner.
Basic Qualifications
  • High School Diploma/GED.
  • Two-year degree in human resources, organizational design, business administration, accounting, or related field or equivalent combination of experience, skills, and training.
  • Minimum 2 years of administrative and/or customer service experience in a professional office.
  • Working knowledge of general office procedures and proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
  • Solid communication and interpersonal skills.
Compensation Range
  • $26.44 - $32.69 per hour, based on experience
