Additionally, the Human Resource Manager is responsible for providing oversight to the annual performance review process; onboarding/exit surveys; and supports events throughout the year such as providing HR-related content to staff meetings as needed, and planning trainings and other events throughout the year.

The Human Resource Manager also serves as the lead point of contact for Association staff seeking HR assistance to resolve complex challenges, and is responsible for providing sound HR advice and support that is consistent with AASHTO policies and processes, and looping in the Director of HR as appropriate.
