Job summary

AEG Worldwide in Nashville, TN is seeking an HR professional to support people programs across employee and labor relations, leadership enablement, inclusion, and policy improvement. This onsite role offers a competitive salary and bonus eligibility under the current plan.

You will implement HR initiatives, participate in organizational effectiveness, provide coaching and employee relations support, and help communicate strategies for HR, benefits, and programs. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree required.
  • 4-6 years HR experience with a focus on employee relations.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and able to learn business systems.
  • Knowledge of HRIS including UltiPro, SAP and ADP.
  • Knowledge of federal/state HR laws (EEOC, FLSA, FMLA, ADA).
  • Strong critical thinking, project management, and organization.
  • Able to collaborate in a team and travel as needed.
  • PHR or SHRM-CP preferred; SPHR or SHRM-SCP preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with HR initiatives and programs, including learning and development and workforce planning.
  • Participate in organizational effectiveness initiatives.
  • Provide coaching and employee relations support to employees.
  • Support and facilitate communication strategies for HR, benefits, and programs.
  • Recommend policy improvements and analyze trends for resolution.
  • Organize tasks and projects to meet deadlines.
  • Interpret HR policies for employees and managers.
  • Conduct employee relations counseling and investigations.
  • Ensure corrective actions are administered consistently.
  • Evaluate department performance against goals and suggest improvements.
  • Administer WOTC and tax incentives.
  • Support compliance by responding to EEOC/DFEH complaints and unemployment hearings.
  • Support local community outreach and manage recruitment, onboarding, and off-boarding.

The salary range is USD 73,621 - 108,298 per year, with bonus eligibility under the current bonus plan requirements.

What you’ll do
  • Assist with the implementation of HR initiatives and programs, including learning and development and workforce planning.
  • Participate in organizational effectiveness initiatives.
  • Serve as a resource to employees by providing coaching and employee relations support.
  • Support and facilitate communication strategies for HR, divisional, and company programs, benefits, and initiatives.
  • Recommend improvements to policies, practices, and strategies.
  • Identify and analyze trends tied to recurring issues, then recommend approaches to resolution and improvement.
  • Organize assigned tasks and projects independently and complete work within specified deadlines.
  • Interpret HR policies, practices, and procedures for both employees and managers.
  • Conduct employee relations counseling and investigations.
  • Ensure appropriate corrective actions are administered consistently and advise management on resolutions across business units.
  • Evaluate departmental performance against established goals and recommend changes to improve efficiency and service.
  • Administer WOTC (Tax incentives).
  • Support compliance by responding to EEOC or DFEH complaints, coordinating training and employee engagement efforts, and representing the organization at unemployment hearings.
  • Support local community outreach initiatives.
  • Manage job recruitment (including interviewing), employee onboarding, and employee off-boarding.
What you bring
  • BA/BS Degree (4-year)
  • 4-6 years of related work experience with a concentration in Human Resources
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and ability to learn required business systems
  • Knowledge of large HRIS systems including UltiPro, SAP, and ADP
  • Knowledge of federal and state laws affecting HR policies and procedures, including EEOC, FLSA, FMLA, ADA, and other regulatory compliance laws
  • Excellent critical thinking, project management, and organizational skills
  • Ability to collaborate in a team environment
  • Demonstrates emotional intelligence
  • Effective verbal and written communication with ability to influence change
  • Ability to learn quickly and apply knowledge effectively
  • Ability to develop strong relationships at all levels within the organization
  • Ability to travel as needed
  • PHR or SHRM-CP preferred; SPHR or SHRM-SCP preferred
