Job summary

Sabert Corporation is seeking an intern to support our Talent Acquisition team in Sayreville, NJ. This role involves assisting with posting openings, coordinating interviews, and helping optimize recruitment processes while gaining exposure to HR operations and policy development.

You will work cross-functionally with HR and Learning & Development, and participate in candidate communications, metrics reporting, and employer branding initiatives in a hybrid work setting.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business or related field.
• Relevant coursework in HRM, OB, business admin, or communications.
• Previous leadership, internship, or campus involvement preferred.
• Interest in Talent Acquisition and Recruiting Operations.
• Ability to work up to 40 hours per week during internship.

Responsibilities

• Support end-to-end recruitment activities, including posting openings, scheduling interviews, and candidate communications.
• Assist with updating Talent Acquisition workflows, SOPs, and Playbook.
• Collect, analyse, and report recruiting metrics for process improvements.
• Support candidate experience with timely communication and engagement.
• Partner with HR and L&D on talent-related projects.
• Research recruiting marketing strategies and sourcing techniques.
• Provide admin support for corporate and plant-level recruiting.
• Assist with internship programs, career fairs, and employer branding.
• Support continuous improvement of recruitment processes and TA operations.
• Collaborate with hiring managers and leaders on workforce planning.

Job Responsibilities

• Support end-to-end recruitment activities, including posting job openings, scheduling interviews, and communicating with candidates.
• Assist with maintaining and updating Talent Acquisition workflows, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and the Talent Acquisition Playbook.
• Collect, analyse, and report recruiting metrics to identify opportunities for process improvement and increased efficiency.
• Support candidate experience initiatives by ensuring timely communication and positive engagement throughout the hiring process.
• Partner with Human Resources and Learning & Development teams on talent-related projects and initiatives.
• Research recruitment marketing strategies, sourcing techniques, and talent acquisition technology solutions.
• Provide administrative and coordination support for corporate and plant-level recruiting activities.
• Assist with special HR projects, internship programs, career fairs, and employer branding initiatives.
• Support continuous improvement efforts related to recruitment processes and talent acquisition operations.
• Collaborate with hiring managers, HR team members, and business leaders to support workforce planning activities.

Experience and Education

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Communications, or a related field.
• Relevant coursework in Human Resources Management, Organizational Behavior, Business Administration, Communications, or related disciplines preferred.
• Previous leadership, internship, project, customer service, or campus involvement experience preferred.
• Interest in Talent Acquisition, Recruiting Operations, and Human Resources.
• Ability to work up to 40 hours per week during the internship program.

Schedule

• Work schedule is Monday through Friday, up to 40 hours per week.
• Typical working hours are 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with a lunch break.
• Hybrid work opportunities may be available up to two days per week with manager approval.
