DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
The HR Coordinator will provide support in various HR functions, ensuring smooth and efficient operations within the HR department. This position requires a proactive individual with excellent communication skills and a strong commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Talent Acquisition:
- Lead the end-to-end recruitment process, including posting job openings, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, conducting initial candidate assessments, interviewing (as requested), generating offer letters, and launching the pre-employment and onboarding processes
- Ensure all talent acquisition and onboarding documentation, tools, and resources remain current and any changes are communicated to the appropriate stakeholders
- Build a network of recruiting partners (schools, platforms, etc) for all of our locations
- Educate leaders on interviewing best practices to ensure legally compliant approaches to interviewing
- Develop interviewing tools and resources to support selection with company values
New Hire Experience:
- Facilitate non-field new team member
- Build and facilitate the first 90 days onboarding process
- Facilitate the 90-day review process and associated individual development plans
- Conduct a 30-day check-in with new field team members
Training:
- Develop and implement role-based team member training programs.
- Assist team members and leaders with building training plans
General HR Support:
- Launch random DOT required drug screens
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date team member records
- Assist with the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures
- Act as a point of contact for team member inquires and concerns, providing guidance and support
- Collaborate with HR team members to address and resolve team member relations issues
- Collaborate with HR team members on performance management and corrective action
- Assist with companywide HR program implementations and cyclical events such as the annual feedback survey launch, focus groups, team member appreciation day, construction appreciation week, benefits open enrollment, United Way campaign, and the annual review process
- Conduct exit interviews with team members leaving the company
- Performs other duties as assigned

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Master’s Degree in Human Resources and 1 year of experience in recruiting or leading a new hire experience ~OR~
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related field with 2 years of experience in recruiting or leading a new hire experience ~OR~
- Associates Degree in Human Resources or related field and 3 years of experience in recruiting or leading a new hire experience ~OR~
- High School Diploma with 4 years of experience in recruiting or leading a new hire experience while working in a human resources business unit setting
- Bilingual in Spanish and English is required.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORKING CONDITIONS
- This position could require travel up to 10% based on operational needs
