North Bay Regional Center (NBRC) is seeking an HR Associate to perform essential administrative tasks in the HR and Payroll Department. The role supports onboarding, recruitment, benefits, and records management, ensuring compliance and confidentiality for staff and clients within NBRC’s California service area.
The position will be based in an office four days per week, with potential for hybrid work once weekly.
Salary Range
$50,112 – $55,248 with opportunities for 5% increases annually
Under the supervision of the Director of Administrative Services, the Human Resources (HR) Associate performs a variety of basic administrative tasks in the Human Resources and Payroll Department on behalf of the Regional Center. This position is expected to operate at a basic level of Human Resources and Payroll and will provide administrative support to the HR/Payroll Department, maintain files in compliance with HR/Payroll documentation and record retention policies, ensure a productive and diverse work environment, and support the HR/Payroll Department in developing, implementing, and monitoring HR/Payroll practices, policies, and procedures in support of NBRC’s mission.

North Bay Regional Center (NBRC) provides advocacy, services, support, and care coordination to children and adults diagnosed with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families in Napa, Sonoma and Solano counties. We partner with community-based organizations and agencies to empower our clients to thrive and live as independently as possible within the geographically, culturally, and ethnically diverse communities we serve. NBRC is a nonprofit private corporation that contracts with the Department of Developmental Services to coordinate services and support for individuals with developmental disabilities and serves over 13,000 people living within the geographic boundaries of Napa, Sonoma and Solano counties.
Note: Bilingual Spanish/English skills are preferred.

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements
Knowledge Of
All employment at NBRC requires face-to-face, in-person interactions with NBRC clients, family members, community, and co-workers. Candidates for employment must live within commute distance to their preferred NBRC office, as well as the geographical location of their assigned clients. While 100% remote work is not available to NBRC employees, a hybrid work arrangement with a blend of in-office and home-based work may be available for new employees after successfully demonstrating achievement of performance expectations following at least 3 months of in-office work.
