POSITION SPECIFICS

The Penn State College of Medicine, Department of Surgery, Division of Minimally Invasive Surgery in Hershey, PA is seeking a full‑time Human Research Technologist to conduct faculty lead research projects. A successful candidate will have a demonstrated interest in clinical and outcome research; have knowledge of human subject protocols, and data integrity.

  • They will be responsible for performing a variety of job duties including administratively supporting Dr. Eric Pauli on Human Subject Protection protocols and consent forms.
  • They will screen participants, collect, enter, and analyze data while ensuring data integrity.
  • They will serve as liaison between faculty and central research offices.
  • As projects progress, they may author manuscripts, journal publications, and abstracts.

This is a full‑time position working 40 hours a week on campus. MD degree preferred.

MINIMUM EDUCATION, WORK EXPERIENCE & REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS
  • Associate Degree
  • No prior relevant work experience required; previous relevant work experience accepted in lieu of education.
  • Required Certifications: None

SALARY & BENEFITS

The salary range for this position, including all possible grades, is $40,608.00 - $58,836.00.
