Job summary

The University of St. Thomas seeks qualified individuals to fill adjunct faculty teaching positions for fall 2026, teaching EXSC 214 Human Physiology labs in-person for undergraduates. Anticipated schedule runs 9/9/2026–12/22/2026 with Wednesday lab times.

Minimum qualifications include a Master’s in exercise science or related field and prior teaching/professional experience; a Ph.D. is preferred. Salary is $6,324 per course load for the 2026–2027 year, with equal opportunity employment stated.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in exercise science or related field.
• Prior teaching experience in the field.
• Terminal degree (Ph.D.) in exercise science or related health field (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Deliver instruction using student-engaged pedagogical approaches.
• Develop lab material aligned with program objectives and textbooks.
• Provide timely feedback to students (grades and progress).
• Be available to students for 1–2 hours of office time per week.
• Other duties as assigned.
