A leading company is seeking a highly motivated human geneticist for the role of Senior Expert I/II in Data Science in Cambridge, MA. This position requires expertise in statistical genetics and data science to analyze human genetics data and lead collaborative target discovery projects. The ideal candidate will have a PhD and experience in analyzing large genetic datasets, supporting drug discovery while working closely with interdisciplinary teams.

The DSc Human Genetics & Targets team is a global group of computational and experimental scientists dedicated to validating or invalidating genetics-driven target hypotheses. The team's extensive expertise in genetics analytics, biology, and translatable models is enhanced by DSc's capabilities in AI, functional genomics, chemical biology, and more. The team collaborates with disease area specialists to not only identify disease associations but also to understand the underlying disease mechanisms and advance drug discovery projects to benefit patients in need.

What you’ll bring to the role:
The salary for this position is expected to range between: Senior Expert I, Data Science: $119,700 and$222,300 per year, and Senior Expert II, Data Science: $132,300 and $245,700 per year.
The final salary offered is determined based on factors like, but not limited to, relevant skills andexperience, and upon joining Novartis will be reviewed periodically. Novartis may change the publishedsalary range based on company and market factors.
Your compensation will include a performance-based cash incentive and, depending on the level of therole, eligibility to be considered for annual equity awards.
