Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years as a Human Factors/Ergonomics/Industrial/Test Engineer
• MS degree in a related technical discipline
• Experience with MIL-STD-1472, MIL-STD-46855, MIL-STD-882
• Experience in task/workflow analyses and user research
• Experience in planning, conducting, and reporting user testing (qualitative & quantitative)
• U.S. security clearance eligibility and pre-employment screening

Responsibilities

• Provide Human Factors support across project teams and lines
• Advocate for user-centric design to optimize performance and acceptance
• Create task analyses and user workflows
• Plan, conduct, and report usability testing throughout programs
• Identify Manning, Personnel, and Training issues for mission use cases
• Create personas to identify KSAs for tasks
• Conduct heuristic analyses of UI for prototypes
• Lead human performance testing across cognitive/physical workload and SA
• Collaborate with IPTs to integrate HSI requirements
• Develop training aids and user manuals
• Identify safety hazards and contribute to mitigation strategies
• Conduct ergonomic and anthropometric assessments
• Lead HSI analyses across program phases
• Execute usability studies and HITL evaluations
• Author/review HSI documentation and MIL-STD mappings
• Collaborate with engineers to integrate requirements into ICDs
