Job summary

Gulfstream Aerospace is seeking a Human Factors Engineer - Technical Specialist I in Savannah to support design, analysis, and certification activities for advanced aircraft programs.

You will perform trade studies, develop simulation evaluations, and apply anthropometric modeling tools to ensure human factors compliance and safety. This role requires collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and strong data analysis skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in engineering or equivalent; 5 yrs in a technical discipline or 10 yrs broad eng experience; advanced degrees may credit up to 2 yrs for Masters or 4 yrs for PhD.
• Experience with human factors research and use of human subjects in evaluations.
• Ability to convey technical concepts clearly in writing and verbally.
• Experience with data analysis and statistical tools (SPSS, Minitab).
• Aviation/aerospace HF experience or certificated pilot preferred.

Responsibilities

• Contributes to planning, developing and coordinating important engineering projects.
• Provides specialized technical assistance to team members.
• Uses advanced techniques to provide technical solutions to difficult problems.
• Determines and develops own approach to solutions within schedule and cost objectives.
• Acts as liaison with representatives outside of the assigned group/area.
• Assists with planning, coordination, and liaison engineering supporting Gulfstream products and services.
