Infotree Global Solutions seeks a Sr Human Factors Design Engineer in Minneapolis, MN for a 12+ month contract. The role is on-site with an option to work from home one day per week (Fridays).

The position focuses on human factors usability validation, URRA development, and collaboration with design teams to ensure safe use of medical devices. Responsibilities include authoring protocols, conducting studies, analyzing data, and writing reports, plus ongoing usability testing and risk assessment

Qualifications

• Experience conducting human factors usability validation testing, including protocol authorship, study design, execution, data analysis and report writing.
• Ability to generate and revise use-related risk analyses (URRA).
• Collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure safe use of medical devices.

Responsabilités

• Applies human-centered principles to the design of human-machine systems and products.
• Develops research methodologies and both qualitative and quantitative analysis plans for testing concepts and prototypes.
• Designs and executes usability tests to simulate product use and establish user requirements and interfaces.

Job Description:

• 3 skills sets required? Human factors usability validation and generating use-related risk analysis
• 3 main responsibilities/day to day activities required for this role? Conducting human factors usability validation testing (including authorship of protocol, study design, study execution, data analysis, and report writing), generating and revising use related risk analysis (URRA), collaborating with cross functional teams on design updates related to safe use of the medical device.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.

• Applies human centered principles, methodologies, and technologies to the design of human-machine systems and products.
• Develops and implements research methodologies and both qualitative and quantitative analysis plans to test and evaluate new concepts and developmental prototypes used in all phases of products development and processes.
• Designs and executes tests to simulate product use for the purposes of user need investigation, concept exploration/selection/refinement, requirements development, use-related risk identification and formal usability validation with intended users with design engineers to establish system design, operating, and training requirements and to ensure optimized human-machine interfaces and overall user experience.
• Identifies and analyzes technological problems or risks, performs theoretical human factors investigations, and develops and implements research and analysis plans to inform the design direction of new product development.
