Rimkus is seeking a Human Factors Associate Consultant to conduct qualitative research for medical devices and related products in the healthcare space. The role focuses on contributing to regulatory documentation, interviewing users, and analyzing data for client reports.

The position is in-person at our Chatsworth, CA office, with travel and overtime as needed. A postgraduate degree and experience with medical devices are required.

Formación

• Postgraduate degree in a related field (Ph.D. or MS/MA).
• Experience in qualitative data analysis.
• Strong technical writing to describe research plans and results.
• Experience conducting one-on-one interviews with human subjects.
• Experience with Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with medical devices or combination products.
• Eligible to work in the United States.

Responsabilidades

• Contribute to planning and development of document-based deliverables (e.g., use-related risk documentation, instructions for use, usability study protocols).
• Conduct interviews with representative users to collect qualitative data on device use and perception.
• Analyze observational and interview data and present findings to clients.
• Prepare documentation to support FDA submissions (e.g., HFE/UE report) or other regulatory bodies.
