Job summary

Goldman Sachs in Dallas seeks an HR operations specialist to support the employee life cycle, onboarding, offboarding, compliance, and data integrity across HCM systems globally.

You will partner with HRBP, compliance, and engineering to deliver accurate HR services, manage data, and drive process improvements while maintaining high service levels for employees, candidates and vendors.

Responsibilities

  • Manage HCM operations processes globally, aligning with compliance and business directions; administer HRIS and other HCM systems.
  • Maintain understanding of HCM data and validation; work with technology partners and vendors to solve issues.
  • Execute Talent Management processes and ensure timely processing for stakeholders; maintain SLAs.
  • Suggest improvements and simplify Talent Management processes and procedures.
  • Lead/participate in strategic firm-wide technology, regulatory and compensation initiatives.
  • Focus on data integrity, analytics, and insights to support HR decisions.
  • Document changes and maintain robust documentation practices.
  • Provide guidance to clients/stakeholders outside HCM (Payroll, Compliance).
  • Handle escalations related to HCM procedures regionally; manage Root Cause Analysis and risk tickets.
  • Oversee transactional management for all employee lifecycle processes in HRIS.
  • Support Global Time and Attendance Operations, vacations, and absence policies.

JOB SUMMARY &RESPONSIBILITIES

As an HR operations specialist, you will play a key role in supporting and managing the employee life cycle and business needs in delivering outstanding HCM services to our employees, candidates, alumni, and vendors globally.

Your role will need you to partner with the global functional HCM teams, compliance, product and engineering teams to provide seamless support and experience in new hire onboarding, employee offboarding/ exit management, statutory and legal compliance, partner with HRBP to support all talent management processes of employee transfers, reorgs, year-end support for performance management and compensation activities. In this position you must demonstrate an understanding of HCM/ employee life cycle activities, ability to adapt to change in technology, operating model, work in a professional service environment that is driven by excellence and experience. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Manage HCM operations processes globally, in alignment with the global/ regional compliances andbusiness directions, managing employee data administration, including HRIS and other HCM systems to ensure accuracy and timelymaintenance.
  • Maintain a detailed understanding of HCM data and validation mechanisms in each system; work with technology partners and HRO vendors to investigate issues & queries, assess impacts and formulate and propose solutions asrequired.
  • Execute Talent Management processes and ensure appropriate service delivery support with accurate and timely processing of information with all Talent Management stakeholders globally, maintain theSLAs.
  • Recommend continuous improvements and be proactive in simplifying the existing Talent management processes and procedures.
  • Core Projects Support by leading and participating in strategic firm wide technology, regulatory and compensation relatedinitiatives.
  • Emphasis on data integrity and analysis to support key HR decisions, with specific focus on data management, maintenance, reporting and providinginsights.
  • Own and update changes, champion strong documentationpractices.
  • Work with Global team members to provide advice / guidance to clients and stakeholders external to HCM (i.e. Payroll, Compliance).
  • Key contact for managing issues and escalations related to HCM Operational procedures across theregion including postings on Root Cause Analysis, initiation of Risk Ticketsetc.
  • Transactional Management for all employee lifecycle processes inHRIS.
  • Operations & Infrastructure Support for organizational structure management, talent management systems and reporting.
  • Manage/ support Global Time and Attendance Operations including Vacation and RequiredAbsence policies, processes and system enhancements to meet regulatorydemands
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experience in a fast paced, full life cycle HR business related role, HR generalist andoperations environment Knowledge of multiple HR disciplines and proven track record in continually improving HR service delivery outcomes, including risk management.
  • Collaborative team player who demonstrates flexibility and can-do attitude as a part of a motivated, high performance HR systems and in a dynamic global environment. Good relationshipmanagement.
  • Experience working with global teams, vendor management, HR risk management
  • Ability to understand and adhere to the standard operations and controls, determine compliance with policy, apply/ recommend corrective actions with guidance from supervisors
  • Proven track record in complex transformationprograms.
  • Detail-oriented problem-solver who is able to employ leadership, critical thinking, and time management skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written andoral.
  • Highly collaborative, team-oriented, and strong consensus builder with confidence in interactions with senior stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to work well under pressure; able to manage and execute effectively on multiple, time- sensitive projects, with keen sense ofurgency.
  • Openness to feedback and strongself-awareness
  • Preferred MBA / Bachelor’s Degree with relevantexperience.
