Job summary

Bass Cat & Yar-Craft Boats is seeking hardworking individuals to perform fiberglass layup on hulls and decks, using rollers, brushes, and a fiberglass gun. You will also insert metal reinforcements and perform light sanding and grinding.

This first-shift position runs from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm. Qualified candidates must pass respirator fit tests, wear respirators, and be clean shaven. Drug testing and respirator evaluation may be required.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and follow applied instructions and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Identify hulls and decks to laminate.
• Use rollers, brushes, and fiberglass gun.
• Eliminate bubbles in fiberglass after application.
• Follow instruction of Supervisor/foreman/lead.
• Use small hand tools (scissors, razor knife).
• Keep work area clean and orderly.
• Light sanding and grinding of parts as needed.
• Inspect parts for quality and completeness.
• Work with a team to complete daily tasks.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Be flexible and willing to cross-train within the department
