Job summary

Central Moloney is seeking a Hull Chamber Operator in Pine Bluff, AR to join the Production team. You will operate hull chamber equipment, set up materials, monitor process conditions, and perform routine quality checks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

This role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, basic mechanical aptitude, and strong teamwork. Training and career growth opportunities are provided in a safety-conscious facility with ISO 9001 certification.

Responsibilities

  • Operate and monitor hull chamber equipment per work instructions and production requirements.
  • Prepare, set up, and verify equipment and materials prior to production.
  • Monitor equipment operation, controls, gauges, and process conditions for abnormalities.
  • Load, position, and handle materials for hull chamber operations.
  • Grind and leak test units after cover weld.
  • Perform quality and process checks and report nonconforming materials or conditions.
  • Troubleshoot basic equipment and process issues and notify supervision when help is needed.
  • Perform routine operator checks and basic maintenance activities.
  • Complete and maintain production, process, and quality documentation.
  • Identify and report equipment, material, quality, or safety concerns.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, safe work area.
  • Follow safety procedures, work instructions, and PPE requirements.
  • Collaborate with team to meet safety, quality, and production goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and monitor hull chamber equipment in accordance with established work instructions, operating procedures, and production requirements.
  • Prepare, set up, and verify equipment and materials prior to beginning production operations.
  • Monitor equipment operation, controls, gauges, and process conditions to identify abnormalities, malfunctions, or other operating issues.
  • Load, position, and handle materials or components as required for hull chamber operations.
  • Grinds and leak tests units after cover weld
  • Perform required quality and process checks and identify or report nonconforming materials or process conditions.
  • Troubleshoot basic equipment and process issues and notify supervision or maintenance when additional support is required.
  • Perform routine operator-level equipment checks and basic maintenance activities as authorized.
  • Complete and maintain required production, process, and quality documentation accurately.
  • Identify and report equipment, material, quality, or safety concerns to appropriate personnel.

  • Follow all applicable safety procedures, work instructions, and PPE requirements.

Shift Information
  • 1st Shift: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
  • 2nd Shift: Monday–Friday, 3:30 PM – 12:00 AM
  • 3rd Shift - Monday - Friday, 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM
  • All new hires start on 2nd Shift unless discussed.
  • Overtime may be required, including early start times or later end times.
Physical & Environmental Requirements

This position involves sustained physical activity and may require prolonged standing and walking; frequent bending, stooping, squatting, kneeling, reaching, climbing, pushing, pulling, grasping, and repetitive movement; and handling or positioning materials and equipment. Lifting and carrying requirements will be identified based on the essential functions of the specific position and may include loads exceeding 50 pounds, including team-assisted or mechanical lifting where appropriate.

The position requires sufficient visual ability to safely perform assigned work, identify components and materials, read equipment markings and work instructions, recognize hazards, perform required inspections or precision work, and safely operate or work around industrial equipment.

The position requires sufficient hearing ability to communicate in an industrial environment and recognize equipment operation or changes in operation, audible warnings, alarms, signals, and other conditions necessary for safe job performance.

Work is performed in an industrial manufacturing environment with exposure to heat, noise, moving machinery, and powered material‑handling equipment.

  • Work may be performed near ovens and other equipment that generates elevated temperatures.
  • Required to work around forklifts, hoists, powered tools, and other industrial equipment.
  • Required use of applicable personal protective equipment (PPE) and compliance with established safety procedures.
