Community Action Partnership of Hennepin County is seeking an HUD and FAIM Counselor in Bloomington, MN to provide housing counseling, financial coaching, and case management aimed at housing stability and financial self-sufficiency.
You will deliver HUD-approved counseling, facilitate educational workshops, and administer FAIM matched savings programs, building strong community partnerships and guiding participants toward sustainable outcomes.

Status: Full-Time, Non-Exempt
Salary: $22.00 - $27.00 per hour
The HUD & FAIM Counselor provides housing counseling, financial coaching, case management, and asset‑building services to individuals and families working toward housing stability and financial self‑sufficiency. This position delivers HUD‑approved housing counseling, facilitates educational workshops, and administers the Family Assets for Independence in Minnesota (FAIM) matched savings program.

Physical Requirements. Work is performed in an office environment and requires the ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards. Must have the ability to walk short distances. Exerting up to twenty‑five pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. Repetitive motion. Substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers. The employee is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading.
