This is a tipped position with potential to earn significant additional income. Full-time employees receive full coverage medical, dental, and vision benefits at no additional cost. Summary

The Deli Cashier will provide consistently excellent customer service in a clean and friendly environment. They will also be cross-trained to assist in any deli position, including cooking.

Responsibilities
  1. Utilize Agilysys system to ring in orders, receive funds, and count back change.
  2. Prepare food consistently according to standard operating procedures.
  3. Maintain a clean work environment.
  4. Ensure food safety and sanitation measures are followed.
  5. Stock items applying appropriate dating and rotation principles.
  6. Operate and clean commercial restaurant equipment according to procedures.
  7. Maintain temperature logs, time logs, and waste sheets.
  8. Perform prep work & put away food stock as needed.
  9. Follow recipes precisely, using correct containers, portion sizes, and wrapping.
  10. Assist in serving guests, calling out names/numbers loudly or via microphone if needed.
  11. Maintain cleanliness of dishes and manage waste disposal.
  12. Perform deep cleaning tasks as assigned.
  13. Greet guests politely with a smile, adhering to Coeur Spirit Standards.
  14. Read tickets accurately to meet guest specifications.
  15. Manage daily bank transactions with proper documentation.
  16. Notify management of low stock items.
  17. Stock front coolers/display cases for grab & go items.
  18. Cross-train across deli positions and adapt as needed.
  19. Perform other duties and projects as assigned.
Qualifications
Education/Experience:
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Ability to obtain an Ancillary (Class B) Coeur d’Alene Tribal Gaming License required.
  • Previous cashiering and customer service experience required; six months preferred.
  • Must be 19 years or older.
Skills/Knowledge:
  • Strong cash handling skills preferred.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Strong verbal communication skills.
  • Good multitasking and organizational skills.
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions precisely.
Physical Demands

The physical demands include exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds frequently, with the ability to work in confined spaces, perform repetitive activities, and handle various physical tasks as described.
