The University of Virginia is seeking a receptionist to support unit functions through clerical tasks. The role requires effective communication and attention to detail while maintaining medical records and supplies. This entry-level position does not require prior experience and offers an hourly compensation range of $15.00 to $21.16.
Under the direction of the manager or designee supports the functions of the unit/area by performing receptionist and clerical duties.
In addition to the above job responsibilities, other duties may be assigned.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education: High School Graduate or Equivalent.
Experience: No experience required.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Job requires sitting for prolonged periods, frequently bending/stooping. Proficient communicative, auditory and visual skills; Attention to detail and ability to write legibly; Ability to lift/push/pull < 20lbs. May be exposed to chemicals, blood/body fluids and infectious disease.
