Talimer's client, a growing portfolio of companies owned by a Wisconsin-based holding company, seeks a freelance HubSpot Developer to support post-launch website maintenance, customization, and technical optimization across several brand websites currently being migrated and built by external agencies. This individual will serve as both a developer and strategic advisor, maintaining performance and functionality while identifying opportunities to improve user experience, site efficiency, and platform integration across multiple business units.

Start Date: Summer 2025 (once agency-built websites transition to internal maintenance)

Duration: Project-based, part-time, freelance

Location: Remote

Compensation: Commensurate with experience

Technology: Developer must provide their own hardware, software, and access to development tools

Job Description:

This is not just a maintenance role. They’re looking for a freelance HubSpot Developer who understands how to sustain and enhance websites built on the CMS Hub. You’ll step in once agency partners have completed site builds, ensuring the websites for brands under the parent company umbrella are well-supported, well-optimized, and aligned with business goals. You’ll also help shape ongoing digital improvements and provide technical insight that informs marketing and user experience strategies.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain HubSpot CMS websites for multiple sub-brands post-launch

• Implement updates, troubleshoot technical issues, and ensure site reliability

• Build custom modules, templates, and themes in accordance with brand guidelines

• Collaborate with marketing and design teams to optimize page layouts and UX

• Support integration with CRM, forms, marketing workflows, and third-party tools

• Optimize performance for speed, SEO, mobile responsiveness, and accessibility

• Monitor and analyze site performance, user interactions, and conversion paths

• Offer strategic recommendations for improving site structure and content delivery

• Provide guidance and technical insight to internal stakeholders across brands

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience developing in HubSpot CMS Hub

• Strong understanding of HubSpot’s CRM and Marketing Hubs

• Experience building custom themes, templates, and modules in HubSpot

• Ability to integrate HubSpot with third-party platforms via API or native integrations

• Familiarity with website performance optimization and SEO best practices

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple brand sites simultaneously

• Strong communication skills and a consultative approach to stakeholder collaboration
