Nippon Sanso MATHESON in Eagan, MN seeks a Hub Plant Manager to lead production and maintenance teams, ensure safe and efficient plant operations, and oversee safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of plant, production or manufacturing experience
  • 5+ years of management experience supervising 10+ staff
  • Experience with pumps, compressors and mechanical equipment
  • Ability to read flow diagrams and P&IDs
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical field preferred
  • Proficiency with Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership in safety and quality under company guidelines
  • Serve as front line supervisor for plant production team
  • Report to Regional GM on production issues
  • Maintain customer focus and ensure staff commitment
  • Track and control plant expenses to meet corporate goals
  • Lead plant projects and manage budgets/schedules
  • Coordinate with other Matheson locations for asset efficiency
  • Work with corporate on procurement of assets
  • Develop contingency and emergency plans
  • Provide training in safety, quality, processes, and procedures
  • Manage plant vendors and contractors
  • Maintain professionalism under pressure

Hub Plant Manager - Eagan, MN

Wage - $0 - $120,000 Annually

This position willdirectly manage production and maintenance teams on a daily basis to ensuresafe & efficient plant operations. Additionally the Hub Plant Managerwill be directly responsible for safety, quality, and regulatory requirementsas they relate to personnel and the plant. The HubPlant Manager will also be responsible for measuring operationalefficiency and monitoring staffing needs to ensure the plant operates safelyand efficiently.

Position Accountabilities
  • Provide leadership in safety and quality under Matheson's corporate guidelinesand directives
  • Serve as front line supervisor for plant production team
  • Provide response and reporting to the Regional General Manager regardingcustomer issues related to production.
  • Demonstrate and maintain a high levelof customer focus, and customer commitment and ensure plant personneldemonstrate and maintain the same.
  • Track and control all plant expenses toensure monthly and annual corporate goals are achieved
  • Develop and lead plantprojects, control their schedule, and manage expenses to ensure projects arecompleted on time and within budget.
  • Work directly with other Mathesonlocations to ensure the efficient use of corporate assets
  • Work directly withcorporate management for the procurement of assets
  • Develop and updatecontingency and emergency plans
  • Provide training in the areas of safety,quality, processes, and procedures
  • Manage plant vendors and contractors
  • Maintain clear thinking and professional composure in high pressure situations
Required Experience
  • Experience with principles and operation of mechanical equipment such as pumps and compressors.
  • Experience with reading and understanding flowdiagrams and P&ID's
  • 5+ Years plant, production, manufacturing, orequivalent experience
  • 5+ Years of management experience with team of 10 ormore
  • Experience in industrial gas filling or production preferredEducation & Skills
  • Bachelor's degree, in engineering or othertechnical degree preferred
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word,Excel, PowerPoint)
