Job summary

UPS is seeking a results-driven supervisor to lead a package handling team in a fast-paced warehouse in Omaha, NE. You will oversee safety, productivity, attendance, and training, ensuring high standards across operations.

The role requires strong communication, the ability to manage resources, and a focus on continuous improvement while complying with OSHA requirements and company policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or international equivalent preferred.
• Management experience preferred.
• Ability to lift 70 lbs./32 kgs as required.
• Availability to work flexible shift hours, up to 5 days per week.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Supervise package handlers and train workgroups for safety and productivity.
• Maintain high standards for accuracy, customer service, and attendance.
• Lead within OSHA and corporate requirements with proactive coaching.
• Allocate resources to maximize output and efficiency.
• Foster a positive, team-oriented environment and continuous improvement.
• Ensure orientation and ongoing safety training for department staff.
